The Main Event

Baltimore DCP wants to give a shout out to Adrian Causing and the FR3SH Dance Company for a knock out dance competition this past weekend in Jersey! The Main Event was a huge success and we cannot wait to come back!

Brian and Cynthia drove up with choreographer friend, Aaren Salido, and members of Bamboom to watch dance crews from all over the East Coast compete. From whacking to krumping, the teams competing did it all. Congrats to Rhythm City for unquestionable and well deserved First Place and, of course, congrats to GWU's Capital Funk for Second Place and representing the DMV!

We also took two crazy good workshops on Sunday. Thank you to Keone Madrid, Mariel Martin, Kyle Hanagami, and Ellen Kim for intense workshops! Two of the hardest workshops any of us have ever attended! We needed extra practice in the parking lot and at a KFC.

We love Funkanometry and THE LOST KIDS!

More love....

Show love to Virginia's Kodachrome! KODACHROME is the collective word for the dance workshops put together by various colleges/universities in VA (Visit: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=121818485401). Check them out at http://www.youtube.com/kodachrometv. Virginia on the verge of doing big things!

In other news....

Baltimore DCP has been quiet for awhile. Brian and Cynthia have been introducing the idea of dance to their students and are currently working on further establishing the program. The pair is also training with different choreographers along the East Coast. They are also preparing to teach workshops in both Baltimore and in Virginia.

Lastly, Brian, Cynthia, and Aaren are joining forces! Be on the look out! ...."Confused Teachers"....a unique blend of choreography that detention can't hold.

Brian, Cynthia, Aaren, and Bamboom members (Hannah, Shirley, Mandi, and Larry) with the Lost Kids and Mariel Martin!!!
